The zen diet is based on the principles of macrobiotics, in one week can lose weight between 1 and 1.5 Kg, it will depend on each body.
The Zen diet rules are:
allowed fruits: apples, strawberries and citrus fruits.
Combinations are: vegetables with brown rice and vegetables with plant proteins: breaded soy, tofu, etc.
to garnish may be low soy sauce in sodium, peppers and herbs.
Suggested infusions are: you red and you green.
Held four meals: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner
you should chew well before swallowing.
EXAMPLE of MENU in the ZEN diet: (Western)
breakfast:
Infusion you red or green with sweetener + 2 cookies of rice with cheese spread diet + 1 hard boiled egg + 1 Apple Compote.
LUNCH: 1 cup soup diet + 100 g of boiled brown rice + 1 bunch of broccoli, 1 bunch of cauliflower, half carrot cut into sticks + a handful of large green beans all boiled or steamed, spiced with a tablespoon of soy sauce low-sodium + 1 cup of strawberries
snack: preferred Infusion milk skim with sweetener-cut + 1 yogurt + 1 Rice cracker.
DINNER: 100 gr of mushrooms (fungi) à la Provençale with 100 g of tofu grilled or breaded tofu 1 + 1 boiled corn. + Red or green tea.
